|Can I reserve a court in advance?||Yes. Using the Court Reserve app, you are able to reserve a court up to seven days in advance.
Lucky Shots Pickleball Club Pickleball utilizes CourtReserve to book courts and sign up to play. Please download the app or go to courtreserve.com and click on: “create your free account”. As soon as you set up your free account, you are able to reserve courts through the CourtReserve app.
|What is an “Open Play” session?||“Open Play” is a regularly-scheduled, organized event where players can show up to play without a partner. Players rotate in and out to mix/match with others of similar skill levels, creating a fun, dynamic, and social environment. “Open Play” sessions are scheduled daily to give players a chance to meet other players and experience the club at a discounted rate. If you do not want to play with different partners throughout the evening, and prefer to stay with your group, you should reserve a court instead. The term “Open Play” implies no reservation required, however we definitely recommend pre-registering, to make sure you get a spot.|
|Do you offer private lessons?||Yes! We have large group Intro to Pickleball classes, as well as smaller private lessons for 1-4 people.|
|Is there a Pro Shop?||Lucky Shots Apparel and merchandise is available, along with pickleball game balls. Coming soon: Lucky Shots will be partnering with off-site local vendors, for both paddles and demo paddles.|
|What is your cancellation policy?||
For Court Reservations: You may cancel up to 24 hours in advance of your reservation start time. Look under “My Reservations” in Court Reserve, find the date and time, click on it, and “Cancel Reservation” will be one of your options.
Refunds for Open Play and Court Reservations will be credited to your account as a balance credit.
Refunds are processed within 2-3 business days.
If you want to transfer your registration to a different Open Play session, instead of canceling and paying for a new one, you can call Lucky Shots and our Welcome Desk Staff can transfer your registration and paid fee to another session.
You are able to edit your court reservation in Court Reserve – go to My Reservations in the app, click on your reservation, and you can edit the date and the time from there!
|Are there restrooms and showers? What about lockers?||
There are restrooms but no showers. We do not have lockers, but we do have a bench outside each court where you can keep an eye on your things.
|Can I bring food and drink on site?||
You can bring small snacks and beverages. Only water is allowed on the courts. Groups are only allowed to bring food if they are renting out the entire facility. Coming 2022: Lucky Shots will be providing Food & Beverage offerings.
|Can I hold a private party or corporate event at the Club?||
Yes, we will work with you to determine how many courts you need, and which ones we should reserve for you. Please contact us for pricing.
|Do you host pickleball tournaments?||
Yes! We will be hosting half day Lucky Shots skill level tournaments, as well as a limited number of large tournaments organized by outside groups.
|Do I need my own equipment?
What type of pickleball is best at Lucky Shots?
No, equipment (paddles) may be rented at the club. You do need indoor court shoes, however. Indoor court shoes are shoes that are appropriate for playing (athletic/tennis/running shoes), that are free from the debris of Minnesota outdoors (snow/salt/mud). You do need to bring your own pickleballs to use. If you don’t have your own, we do have them available for purchase at the Welcome Desk.
Looking to get some balls of your own? You will want outdoor balls for Lucky Shots play, because these are outdoor courts in an indoor setting.
|What are Club Hours?||
Hours are subject to change throughout the year. Please check Court Reserve for our hours for any specific day.
|How much does it cost to play?||
The standard time reservation fee is $22.50 per hour. During Prime Time, the cost is $45 per hour. You may have up to 6 players for each court reserved.
|What is your Covid-19 Policy?||
Covid-19 Protocols and Policies
Based on guidance provided by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health, we outline Club requirements for protecting and promoting workplace health among employees and our valued patrons. We outline here the required actions they should take to protect themselves from a potential coronavirus infection:
1. Masks are required in the clubhouse and in the areas around the courts when Minneapolis has an active mask mandate. When there is no mask mandate in place, masks are no required.
2. Masks are optional while playing.
4. If you have cold symptoms, such as cough/sneezing/fever, or feel poorly, please do not enter the Club.
5. If you’ve been in close contact with someone infected by COVID-19, with high chances of being infected yourself, please do not enter the Club.
